| Abstract | O Inventário Florístico Florestal de Santa Catarina (IFFSC) tem por objetivo o levantamento de dados sobre a diversidade, estado de conservação, composição e estrutura da cobertura florestal, que inclui o estoque de biomassa. Utilizando as Unidades Amostrais do IFFSC, o inventário de estoque de biomassa foi realizado por meio do intervalo de confiança (IC). Técnicas determinísticas e estocásticas de análise espacial foram usadas para especializar a biomassa na Floresta Ombrófila Mista e comparadas ao resultado do IC. Além disso, a intensidade amostral foi avaliada pela análise do semivariograma e pela variância de erro gerada a partir da Krigeagem Ordinária. O estoque de biomassa foi estimado em IC = [0,3 x 108 Mg < 1,3 x 108 Mg 2,6 x 108 Mg] = 95%. As variações de estoques gerados pelas técnicas espaciais foram inferiores a 5% do obtido pelo IC. Nas áreas localizadas à Leste encontram-se as áreas mais densamente amostradas, enquanto que as áreas à Oeste foram sub-amostradas. As técnicas de análise espacial são ferramentas úteis não somente para gerar mapas de estoque de biomassa como também para avaliar a intensidade amostral. ABSTRACT The Santa Catarina Forest and Floristic Inventory (IFFSC) aims to survey data on the diversity, condition, composition and structure of forest cover, which includes biomass stock. Using Sampling Units from IFFSC inventory stock biomass was performed by the confidence interval (CI). Deterministic and stochastic techniques of spatial analysis were used to specialize biomass in the Araucaria Forest and compared to the results of the CI. Furthermore, the sampling intensity was evaluated by analysis of semivariogram and variance error generated by Ordinary Kriging. The stock biomass was estimated at CI = [0.3 x 108 Mg < 1.3 x 108 Mg 2.6 x 108 Mg] = 95 %. Changes in inventories generated by special techniques were less than 5 % of that obtained by IC. Areas located at East were most densely sampled, while areas at West were subsampled. The spatial analysis techniques are useful tools not only to generate maps of biomass stock as well as to assess the sampling intensity. | |||
